What data we collect
Website analytics (Google Analytics GA4)
The visit counter (Google Analytics 4) is on by default and counts overall numbers: which pages get read, which countries visits come from. Ads, Google Signals and Google's use of the data for its own purposes are switched off. This is aggregate "how the site is used" statistics, not "who uses it" — under UK law (the PECR statistics exemption) it doesn't require consent, but opting out is easy: one button on the Cookies page.
Interaction recording (Microsoft Clarity) runs only with your consent via the banner. It shows how pages get used, never records what you type, and doesn't know who you are. You can switch it off on the same Cookies page.
