If someone can pick up your phone — this page is for you. Honestly: what the site does for your safety on its own, what only you can do, and what nobody can do.
The “✕ Exit” button
There's an exit button at the top of the pages. One tap and the weather forecast opens instead of Skybow. The “back” button won't bring you here again: the page is replaced, not opened on top of it. On a computer the Esc key works too.
What the button doesn't do: it doesn't wipe your browser history. The “skybow.org” entry stays in your history — that's how all browsers work, a site can't edit your history. What to do about it — below.
Browser history
The safest thing is to open the site in incognito straight away (⋮ → “New Incognito tab”) — then no entry appears at all.
If you've already been here in a normal tab — delete the entries one by one: history → search “skybow” → delete.
Don't wipe your whole history. A suddenly empty history looks suspicious on its own — like a table wiped clean. Clear only what needs clearing.
What incognito doesn't hide
Incognito hides your traces from whoever picks up your phone. But the Wi-Fi owner — at home, in the hostel, at work — and your internet provider see which domain you connected to: not what's on the pages, but the name of the site itself. If that's a risk — mobile data instead of shared Wi-Fi.
Telegram without traces
Being in a chat is visible to anyone who opens your chat list. Once you've joined — archive the chat straight away (swipe left) and turn notifications off, so the name doesn't pop up on your lock screen.
Think about which account you join from: your Telegram number can be seen by people who have you in their contacts.
The offline copy on your phone
So the crisis pages open even without internet, the site keeps a copy of them in your browser. That's data on your device: clearing history doesn't always remove it.
The button deletes the Skybow offline copy from this device. Next time you visit, it gets created again.
If your phone gets checked regularly
Honestly: there is no full invisibility on a device that gets checked. If the checks are systematic — it's safer to come here from a device other people can't get into: a friend's phone, a library computer, incognito on a work machine.
